Natchez Trace Scenic Trail

On Sunday November 1,2009 we will set out to do the Natchez Trace Scenic Trail along the Natchez Trace Pkwy. As far as we know the trail is 24 miles in length with rolling to hilly terrain. While we don't know much about the trail we are very excited to run something new in the area. I will post a update on our trip early next week. Get out there and run!!!

Sounds like you will be hiking the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail. It is 24 miles long and starts at the Garrison Creek stop on the Natchez Trace Parkway. For pictures and a map, see:
Garrison Creek The horseback and hiking trail goes south and ends at the junction of the Trace and TN Highway 50. The trail parallels the Trace - mainly in the woods.

Randy, we completed the trail on sunday and had a blast. We started from the southern trailhead and made our way up to Garrison Creek. I have to say the Northern Part of the trail starting around Hwy 7 was much better than the first 8 or so miles. I think we counted around 18-20 water crossing from Hwy 7 to Garrison creek. We had a great time though. Thanks for the info
