Notes: Well this was officially the start of my taper. I had a hard tempo run on Tuesday and a few easy runs in the middle ending the week with a med. distance run on the trails of about 11 miles. This was my last run to make sure all of my gear is in order and make the final adjustments if needed. As I write this I'm 4 days out till race day and I must say that the legs feel fresh and ready, hopefully come Saturday morning the leg turnover will be there and I will be ready to go. I do have a base plan for the race and I look to put it work. I feel that I have a solid base, while I wish I could have done more on the speed side of things, I still feel that I can have a great race and come away satisfied with the work I have put in. I will post a Race Report sometime next week. Until then Happy Trails and "keep moving forward"
