Training Week 11/1-11/7

Monday: 6.1 (Hill) Dyer Observ. Summit Ascent # 21
Tuesday: 6.1 (Hill/Tempo) Dyer Observ. Summit Ascent # 22
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: 3.0 (Easy)
Friday: 7.0 Medium Tempo (Bwood)
Saturday: 18.6 (Long Run) @ PWP yellow x 1, Red, CC, Blue, CC, Red, and white
Sunday: OFF

Week Total: 40.8 mi.

Notes: Well this was my last real week of running before I start my Taper. I had a great Tempo/Hill run tueday and a great long trail run packed with about 12 climbs on Saturday. I now feel that I have the "Hay in the barn" and I am ready to go. As with anything I have put in a solid amount of work but wonder if I've done everything right. As it is, I know that I have put in the mileage and hardwork, but putting that all together in race is something different. Hopefully come next weekend I will put all the pieces together and have a great day out on the trails. Over the past 3 months I have found a new level of training and I look forward to pushing that out even further. As for now I know I have about 6 runs left and I will be ready to lase up the shoes and get after it.
