Week Total: 52.o mi

Notes: Now this past week was a solid week. I put in the highest weekly mileage total for 2011 and while today I have some tired legs, I still feel great. I accomplished everything I set out to do for the week. I had a great tempo run, I ran laps on a small track and a long trail run on the weekend. So I now look forward to putting together another large block of solid training and try to keep the momentum going. My lap/tempo run Friday was awesome and left me really tired for Sat's long run which was also good, because I got to do close to 20 miles with tired and sore legs. I believe this will make me stronger down the road. As one my running buddies said "this run definitely counts" and this is what I was thinking after both my Friday and Saturday runs. Also one my HRURC teammates ripped it up this weekend and finished 3rd in the LBL 50 miler behind a solid sub 7 hour finishing time. (way to go Coon Doooger) !!! Positive results like this show you what hard work and determination can do. Jadyn puts in the time and thus he is reaping the benefits! When you train with people like him it's not hard to get motivated to get out the door and do the work. I thank him for that!!! Till next time get out there.....
